I've spent 15+ years building the operational backend of companies from the inside. I've built finance systems from zero and carried them through Seed, Series A, and Series B. A VC firm once deployed me as emergency interim COO — operations were stable within six weeks. I built a CRM from zero to one inside a Fortune 100 insurer, ran M&A due diligence that kept 100% of the talent, and in 2008, when the crisis hit, investors picked me to lead through it.

Impeto is the productization of that career.

The reason I do this is simple: I've watched too many good products get dragged down by a backend nobody had time to build. You were right to spend your days on product and customers.
